What's a good book to read?

Some of the last books I've read are: the hunger game series, divergent, home front, and district 19. I've been looking for a new book and came across one called The Heroes by Joe abercrombie. With this book, for those who have read it, would it be a good idea to read the First law trilogy? And is it a good read
