Is it safe to overclock my cpu?

Laptop processors don't overclock, period. Overclocking is done in the BIOS, and laptop BIOSes don't feature overclocking options. And the heatsinks in laptops are in no way shape or form fit to handle the heat that would accompany raising the processor's voltage. Considering that they run hot enough at stock as it is. Even if you could overclock it, it wouldn't be a high-enough overclock to even see a benefit. So, can't do it and not worth it, period. If you want to overclock, then custom build yourself a desktop, and stick to a board from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, or Biostar.
